In June, The Resurrection Project (TRP) was one of the lead organizations to secure $10 million from the state budget for the Illinois Access to Justice Program Act. The program, which seeks to address deportations and mass incarceration, funds legal representation; 200 community navigators who will give Know Your Rights trainings and other services to 20,000 people; and a holistic, mental health program for ex-offenders.
