Sarah Mesick

Sarah Mesick brings over eight years of community organizing, programmatic and administrative to NPNA. Through her work in Chicago, she has led successful voter registration campaigns, has built teams of immigrant leaders to fight for comprehensive immigration reform, led the New Americans Initiative (NAI) and worked in coalition to expand the largest parent engagement initiative in Illinois, the Parent Mentor Program. She is a recent graduate from Loyola’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program, concentrating in policy, migration studies and leadership development. Sarah’s prior education include studying at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City, University of Minnesota and in Merida, Venezuela.
