Ramya serves as the Federal Policy Manager at the National Partnership for New Americans, leading congressional and administrative advocacy on federal inclusion priorities and representing state and local initiatives with national stakeholders, informed by NPNA’s membership in over 41 states. Before joining NPNA, they served as the Managing Policy Counsel at Masa Group and as a policy consultant to diverse national immigrant rights and community organizations, supporting the development and implementation of federal policy campaigns and legislative advocacy. Ramya led a coalition of over a hundred organizations in pushing for humanitarian relief and protection from deportation for immigrants from countries facing armed conflict, climate, and humanitarian crises. Ramya comes with experience in direct services, supporting undocumented immigrants in seeking legal relief. She is a lawyer from India and holds an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Born in New York to Indian immigrants, Ramya was raised in Hyderabad, India, and currently lives in Washington, D.C
