Laila Martín García is the Universal Representation Campaign Manager at NPNA. As Director of Organizing for a voting rights organization, Laila’s leadership catalyzed the power of voters of color to make positive changes in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. Previously, she was CASA Pennsylvania Regional Lead Organizer, where she led thousands of families to advocate for Puerto Rican equity, climate justice, and immigrant justice. She holds a Masters of Arts in International Relations, Security, and Development from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a post-graduate certificate on International Law and Non-Violent Popular Struggle by the University of Barcelona and Al-Quds University, focusing on non-violent movements and organizing for social change in Southern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Laila has served as program manager for human rights and anti-corruption work in Spain, Germany, Morocco, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.
