2018 NIIC in Arlington, VA

The National Immigrant Inclusion Conference (NIIC) is NPNA’s flagship event and NPNA’s largest annual member gathering. Launched in 2008, it has grown to become the largest annual convening of the entire sector supporting America’s immigrants and refugees. It is a highly respected, collaborative and big tent space that annually brings together over 1,000 leaders from hundreds of organizations and governmental entities in the U.S. and abroad. NIIC 2022 will mark the 15th year of the conference. To-date, over 15,000 leaders from more than 5,000 organizations have participated and NIIC has featured over 2,100 expert speakers from more than 1,500 organizations. The majority of those attending and presenting at NIIC are directly impacted: more than 50% of NIIC attendees are immigrants or the first in their family to be born in the U.S. NPNA co-anchors NIIC alongside NPNA member groups and the conference moves across the country each year.

To-date, 13 NPNA members have anchored NIIC in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Nevada, Illinois, Tennessee, Michigan, Virginia and Washington. Anchoring groups have also included those inside and outside the NPNA network which uplift diverse immigrant communities including APINH (APIA Vote in 2022, NAKASEC in 2018), Arab American (ACCESS in 2019), Black/African Diasporic (ACT, BAJI and HBA in 2022; BAJI in 2020 and 2021) and Muslim (MPower Change in 2022).
