Citizenship Day Events

Citizenship Day is on September 17. In the past year, NPNA members have held over 500 workshops across the country, assisting 15,000 legal permanent residents become American citizens. Now, NPNA and its member organizations are driving a campaign to celebrate those who have recently naturalized, those who will become American citizens this year, and all those who have no path to American citizenship nonetheless.

This Citizenship Day, you’ll hear what being American means to our communities. Join us this citizenship day as we celebrate being American by following along and sharing your story will our #WhyImAmerican campaign.
